Cirrus Aviation Community Engagement

As a family owned-business based in Las Vegas, we believe Cirrus Aviation Services must not only contribute to the economic sector, but also support the community and do our part to make it stronger.Over the years, Cirrus Aviation has donated both funds and flights to established charitable causes that enrich the people, neighborhoods and safety of Las Vegas, especially for children and youth in need. To date, our donations have helped local charities raise hundreds of thousands of dollars. As our company grows, we will continue to support Las Vegas in ways that provide long-term impact. These are a few of the trusted community partners we’ve worked with so far. We encourage you to learn more about them and hope they will inspire you as much as they inspire us.

Aoki Foundation

Founded by superstar DJ Steve Aoki, the Aoki Foundation supports brain science and research. In an effort to raise funds for regenerative medicine and brain preservation, Cirrus Aviation joined up with Steve and other partners for the Bowling for Brains fundraiser at Brooklyn Bowl. The grand prize was a flight via Cirrus Aviation private jet from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, dinner with Steve at his L.A. restaurant and a return flight back to Las Vegas to attend a performance as personal VIP guests of Steve, joining him on stage.

Circus Couture

Around the world, roughly 175,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. Circus Couture was created in 2010 to help raise funds, support and awareness for pediatric cancer care and research. The nonprofit organization holds an annual entertainment, fashion and art gala each year with proceeds donated to two organizations:

  • The Children’s Specialty Center of Nevada, a center that treats children with cancer and aims to advance the treatment and prevention of catastrophic childhood diseases. Thus far, more than $10 million has been raised for the center.
  • The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-based charity that focuses on funding the most promising potential cures for childhood cancers

Cirrus Aviation Services is proud to have supported the cause by donating several unlimited empty leg memberships for four people as both live and silent auction prizes over the years.

Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation

As part of the organization’s fundraising efforts, Cirrus Aviation Services and our partners donated a package which included a private jet flight for four guests aboard our Beechjet 400 aircraft from Las Vegas to Los Angeles for a VIP dining experience at Eveleigh, Steve Aoki’s restaurant.

zero-interest mortgages. Habitat ReStore retail outlets provide training, employment and operating revenue to assist ongoing projects.

Cirrus Aviation was honored to help by donating six-month unlimited empty leg flights for four people as part of the Home for the Holidays annual fundraiser, raising $22,000.

In 2016, Cirrus Aviation and our partners donated a return flight to Napa, California paired with a wine weekend package.

Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada

By helping more than 400,000 children in Nevada public schools, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada offers hands-on volunteer efforts and programs that help young students learn about financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship concepts.

We hope to help Junior Achievement establish a permanent location in Las Vegas which will allow them to influence, educate and inspire many generations of our youth.

Cirrus Aviation Services is honored to be a regular supporter by donating numerous six-month unlimited empty leg memberships for four people as live and silent auction prizes over the years.

Las Vegas Victims’ Fund

After the tragic events, Cirrus Aviation contributed to several charities including the Las Vegas Victim’s Fund. Founded by Clark County Commission Chair Steve Sisolak, the fundraising effort provides direct assistance to those harmed and affected by the October 1, 2017 mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip. Cirrus Aviation was shocked and saddened by the unexplainable act of violence. We join the entire community in standing unified in the spirit and philosophy behind #VegasStrong.

Miracle Flights

Based in Las Vegas, Miracle Flights has coordinated more than 97,000 flights and 53 million miles of air travel for low-income children to receive crucial medical care, organ donations and second opinions from specialized experts.

With the help of our many friends and partners, Cirrus Aviation Services hosted and sponsored The Dream Flight, a one-night-only gala inside the company’s Las Vegas hangar, to support the organization. We believe that sponsoring and donating monetarily to Miracle Flights allows us to help more children and families than we could by donating a small number of private flights.

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth

Eliminating homelessness among Nevada’s youth is no small mission. The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth offers a wide spectrum of services to stabilize the lives of at-risk teens in the community. They include crisis intervention counseling and safe-place services at the William Fry Drop-In Center as well as education and employment assistance. The organization also runs Operation Go Home, a family reunification program.

In addition to Miracle Flights, The Dream Flight gala by Cirrus Aviation also offered its support to the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Funds raised helped the renovation and completion of a new drop in center for homeless youth that will serve the community for many years.

The Public Education Foundation

Dedicated to excellence in education, the Public Education Foundation works to improve the quality of teaching and learning in Southern Nevada’s public schools. By teaming up with educators, parents and community leaders, programs are developed to enhance strategies, leverage resources, award grants and provide scholarships.

Cirrus Aviation was honored to help by donating a six-month unlimited empty leg membership for four people to the annual gala fundraiser which raised approximately $17,000. We look forward to working with PEF for many years to come.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas

When children travel to Las Vegas to receive critical medical treatment, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas provide support and temporary lodging for family members in what is often a very difficult and stressful time. The organization also sponsors the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Sunrise Children’s Hospital, a place to relax and regroup while remaining just steps away from a child’s bedside. Additional services include lunch programs, scholarships and mobile medical and dental care.

The Empowered by Love Gala takes place each fall to fund ongoing efforts. Cirrus Aviation helped the cause by donating four-month unlimited empty leg flights for four people during a fundraising auction at raised approximately $22,000.

The Tyler Robinson Foundation

Tyler Robinson was a teenage fan of Las Vegas’ own Imagine Dragons who passed away following a struggle with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. The band was so inspired after meeting Tyler, they teamed up with his family to start a nonprofit organization in his honor. The Tyler Robinson Foundation understands that expenses can go far beyond medical bills when a child battles cancer, especially when a parent needs to step away from work. So the foundation steps in to help fill the gaps, which may include rent or mortgage payments, automobile expenses or home repairs.

Tyler’s family and Imagine Dragons inspire us. We hope the story and cause will inspire you as well. Cirrus Aviation was honored to support this cause by serving as a platinum sponsor for the Tyler Robinson Foundation Gala, donating several flights to the event and a six-month unlimited empty leg membership for four people to the live auction. The Cirrus Aviation empty-leg package raised $26,500 during the live auction.

Vegas Golden Knights Foundation

As the first major league sports team in Las Vegas history, the Vegas Golden Knights are committed to giving back to the community they represent on the ice as the latest NHL franchise. The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation is devoted to addressing education, youth sports, health and wellness, the sacrifice of military members and first responders, hunger and homelessness throughout Southern Nevada.

Cirrus Aviation is honored to help by donating a six-month unlimited empty leg membership for four people during the organization’s inaugural Salute to Service fundraising gala at TPC Summerlin. Proceeds benefit the Folded Flag Foundation and other charities dedicated to military members, veterans, first responders and their families.

It has been our honor to Sponsor the inaugural Salute to Service Gala with The Vegas Golden Knights, benefiting the Folded Flag Foundation and other military, veteran and first-responder charities. Special Guest Maj. Gen. Peter E. Gersten, Commander of the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center at Nellis Air Force Base, delivered the welcome address. In addition to honoring our fallen military members and their families, the event included a special #VegasStrong tribute to the victims, families and unsung heroes of the recent tragedy in Las Vegas. Uniformed military and first responders, as well as several members of our nation’s Gold Star Families were in attendance, and the event raised critical funds for the Folded Flag Foundation, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Foundation, and other important causes.
